Okay, it’s Monday morning, I’m eating breakfast, checking some stuff on the web, watching the news — generally goofing off til I “go to work.” And I saw something that got me pumped up. And then I realized that most of my family would think this officially made me the biggest dork ever. It was on the stats page of my blog where you see how many hits you’ve gotten from Twitter, Facebook, etc. And I noticed one that IRRI.org is a referrer. Clicked on the link and saw this:
I knew that my post from Ag Day this weekend was successful based on the RTs on Twitter and the number of likes & comment on Facebook but wow. Popular enough to get the attention of IRRI? What on Earth will happen when I post about my visit to their site & the conversation I had with the communications guy there?
