Riding an Old School Mechanical Horse — Wordful Wednesday

kid's mechanical horse

My great nephew Jake rarely gets to the place where he’s at a loss for words. While visiting for a final summer vacation, we had a chance to spend an afternoon at Uncle Chuck’s. That meant two awesome things for Jake, awesomeness that can’t be confined to one post!

Check out our boy when he gets to ride one of those  mechanical horses that used to sit out in front of grocery & drug stores, making each of us want change from our parents! Jake even took time to do a riding commentary so we could share it with his mom! He loved that this one was SO OLD that it only cost a dime!

OMG I haven’t seen one of those in ages! One of my younger cousins used to drive everyone crazy to get on those!

Happy Wordless Wednesday and thanks for the memories!

We have a new version of one of these at our local King Soopers that only costs $.01. My granddaughters love it.
