Planking Fun for Wordless Wednesday

Its been a couple of months since planking started showing up on my Facebook timeline and a few friends have really done it well. When I saw a farming friend post this photo of her & colleagues planking in a romaine field, I knew I had to post a few photos from friends publicly. So here you are…. some of the planking goofballs I know!

If you aren’t familiar with planking, you can get the idea quickly — make your body rigid in some odd position, snap a photo and share it. These are pretty fun — and more elaborate than my goofy planking on my deck. I think the fact that so many people have done this in ways that shine a bit of a light on who they are though makes it far more fun!

Celeste and friends ground planking in the field of romaine. Gotta love that they aren’t afraid to get dirty on the farm.

Debra taking a plank into a bin of cantelopes at the grocery store. I’ve certainly felt like going head first into some things at the grocery.

Steve planking on his motorcycle.

Dan (a painter) planking across the ladder that’s mounted on his truck.

Little Jacy on a shopping trip to Lowes when she planks a lawnmower. Since she was probably shopping with friends with a lawn care service… it makes TOTAL SENSE!

I’d love to see your planking photos…. post a link or send me an email!

Heard about this from Brandi Buzzard. It’s too funny. She wrote about someone who fell to his death planking. Then there was public service announcements warning how to plank safely.

Planking is so funny. Got a pic somewhere of my son planking on a round bale of hay.
