The past few weeks have been more than a bit rushed. I have had a lot of places to be and a lot of things to do. It seems like things were just spiraling out of control. All I could think is vacation will be here soon enough.
It’s a vacation I have “planned” for a couple of months. And I was really needing it.
As I left home before sunrise, I wondered if I should just be collapsing to recover…. Maybe another early day was just too much, after all, I am not a morning person. Luckily, I made the right decision. I know that for sure as I am a few days in what I call a “progressive vacation” where I am not letting moss grow under my feet.
See, that’s what made me question whether I was doing to right thing. I would be moving so much of the time. Could it actually help restore my energy the way a vacation should? The simple answer is yes!
I landed in Portland and have spent three nights on the road in three different places. That could sound tiring but I have seen some incredible faces too! Including some of friends I hadn’t seen in years but as we visited, it was like no time had passed at all. what a way to rejuvenate!
I am without a detailed schedule but I have great things to look forward to EVERYDAY!
I will get to writing posts about the adventures I am having soon, but for now, I hope you are having a great week and that you have much to be thankful for. I certainly do! Great friends along the way of this progressive vacation is something I am grateful for today!
