Tree Frog Getting His Dinner Leaves Me Wordless this Wednesday

tree frog mosquito dinner

I took two dozen photos one night trying to capture one of the tree frogs stuck to the side of a building enjoying all the bugs flying around the light in mid bite. FINALLY caught one! Still blown away by the detail I was able to capture since I was using a little point & shoot camera and crossing my fingers on catching the action shot!

You may enjoy Wordless or Wordful Wednesday efforts on other blogs!

Eek! I hate frogs, but only because they’re slimy and I don’t like it when they jump on me. Great shot though!!!

this kind of frog doesn’t seem to like to jump at people… unless you get between them and dinner!

I thought it was a little creepy then thought of mosquitos that wouldn’t bite me! Frogs are lovely from that perspective!

What a cool picture!! I love these little tree frogs. They always hang out on our calf hutches. They are really funny when they get all plump and round. I love any animal that eats flys and other annoying bugs. 🙂

Tim posted one to Twitter the other day and that’s why I pulled this one out! I’m all for choice in ways to keep bugs from biting me or the food I want to eat. 🙂
