I’ve finally done it. I graduated from doing herbs and things on the deck to a raised bed. Yes, I still have containers on the deck, but I’m also taking advantage of having a raised bed. Let’s hope I get to eat more from it than the rabbit I see so often! If you have any garden tips, please leave them!
I have a couple of articles about my sister’s square foot garden (will need her to consult next year). We celebrated in getting in the ground and really celebrated the first fresh, homegrown tomatoes. I sure am looking forward to that! Maybe this year she will even give me some more worm dirt! I already know that next year I will plan ahead and get seed started, etc…. also thinking I’ve got a lot of wasted space so if anyone has ides on things I should add this late, please shout!

Love to see your garden how fun is this going to be <|;-)
Its going to be great fun and a good bit of work too!
Beautiful work! You really have a passion for Gardening! 🙂
Thanks! I am at least trying!
The harder thing is not putting too much in! It looks like a lot of room when plants are small, but when they grow it’s not so much! Looks great! Compost pile is good too if you have one started – an old garbage can will work if neighbors might complain about a pallet bin. Looks awesome!
Thanks Jan! I have been thinking about a compost pile but haven’t had time to read up on the hows, etc…. so for now, I don’t have one. Maybe later this summer I can get one started.
I can help with that. 🙂
That works!
