Last week I had a few days on the road in Charleston, SC. After the meetings were over, I had a chance to visit my friend David who I haven’t seen nearly enough of in the last few years. We spent one summer in constant contact for a big project at work and over time went different directions. Since he’s in the Charleston area, I knew I had to find time to visit him for a bit. What I didn’t know was how great it would be to get to know David’s youngest son who was a mere baby the last time I saw the family. And as you can see from the photos, I was captivated by his expressions! I hope you’re having equally awesome weather and equally fun times with friends!

That is some amazing fountain! How many jets does it have?
There were 8 I think…. and they were powerful. Very cool!
Too cute. I love to watch kids and snap lots of pictures when they see something that interests them. Their expressions can be priceless!!!
🙂 He was so fun to get to know!
What a cutie, and yes, some really cute expressions. I love that fountain too. Beautiful
Thank you for coming by! Happy weekend!
Fun photos – and obviously a fun time! Hope to CU at #DadChat tonight JP – topic is fitness. Mark April 12 for a VERY SPECIAL #DadChat in honor of our 1-year anniversary!
I just took my father to Charleston yesterday; it was his first time. Since he has trouble walking now, we didn’t do a lot, but he was impressed by the Citadel. Have you visited there? The Cooper River Bridge is also beautiful to see. We had lunch at Joe Pasta’s — sat outside and had fabulous spinach fettucini with roasted red peppers and pesto. I live in West Columbia.
Love the CItadel! And you reminded me we visited with some cadets who are nearing graduation! I need to find the photos & write a post about a great tradition they have! That lunch you had is making me hungry too!
Thanks so much for taking all of these priceless pictures and sharing them (my Dad was ecstatic). It can be hard as a parent to keep the kids out of the fountain AND get good pictures… although those could have been fun in their own right :-).
LOL! I would have really enjoyed shooting those photos! Your dad was pretty pumped…. glad I could help!
