I have been lucky enough to travel a lot personally and professionally. Some trips I slow down long enough to write along the way or shortly after I return; others end up on the list to get back to. My November trip to Germany is going to be one that somehow I find a way to write some posts about sooner rather than later.
This trip was a combination of work and fun. I went over to do a presentation at a conference. Got the chance to meet some colleagues at the Bayer offices. Did a study tour to learn about German agriculture (the program run by the German-American Chambers of Commerce) and took some vacation.
Yep. I was gone for a while.
The posts here will really focus on the things I think you will find interesting — some travel, culture and probably a few on-farm experiences. The vast majority of the posts will be on this blog and I’m going to put this graphic on each one — you can reach all of the Germany 2018 posts by clicking on that image. I have to confess, there was a bit of cotton talk (of course). In fact, I already wrote one over on Hundred Percent Cotton cause it involved Justin Timberlake and Levi’s. I think I’ll write about some of the work parts on my LinkedIn profile too. That sounds complicated so by the end of all of this, I’ll write a post helping all of it be found!
For now, I think I will start out with the traditional annual post on how I spent my birthday.
